Civil society’s vital position in reaching the Summit for Democracy objectives

Within the lead-up to the second Summit for Democracy, the Brookings Establishment will host a webinar to mark the discharge of a civil society-led Declaration of Democratic Ideas. The declaration—coordinated by Freedom Home, the George W. Bush Institute, and the McCain Institute—consists of the contributions of 14 cohorts established through the “Yr of Motion” following the primary Summit for Democracy in December 2021.
